Knights of Columbus Council #11548 proudly serves Holy Apostles Parish in Meridian, Idaho, with an unwavering dedication to promoting Faith, Family, Community, and Life. We achieve this mission through a diverse array of activities within the parish and across the broader Treasure Valley region.
Since our establishment on April 24, 1995, our Council has remained steadfast in its commitment to serving our local community. We prioritize the nurturing of faith, strengthening of families, cultivation of community bonds, and the celebration of the gift of life through various initiatives spanning both the parish and the surrounding Treasure Valley area. Our primary aim is to offer support to the community while inspiring individuals to manifest their faith in their daily lives.

These Men We Call Knights
Blessed Father Michael J. McGivney established the Knights of Columbus in New Haven, Conn, in 1882 to provide a means by which Catholic men could support the Catholic Church, provide financial protection to their families, and engage in works of charity to benefit the less fortunate.
Today, its nearly 2 million members make up the largest Catholic lay organization in the world, and last year Knights donated nearly $180 million and volunteered over 75 million hours of their time to charity. From feeding the hungry to clothing the naked to sheltering the homeless, the Knights have been serving our communities and our world for more than 130 years.

Our goal is to strengthen men and their families in the Catholic faith. Formation in our faith goes beyond mere facts or religious practice to an authentic connection with a loving God and his son Jesus Christ.

Knights are called to serve others. Our first principle is Charity – at home with our families and in our communities. When Knights of Columbus members come together they accomplish great things.

Life Director

The Knights of Columbus passionately advocate for the dignity of every individual, regardless of their stage in life. Additionally, we collaborate with Stanton Healthcare and provide assistance to new mothers through our ASAP (Aid and Support After Pregnancy) program.
